need prayers for dd4 operation on tuesday

our dd4 will be going in for her first operation on tuesday to have her tonsils and adnoids out. i know it's a pretty simple operation, but she's my baby and she's so little. we will be going to wdw in july so she will have that to look forward to. we haven't told her about tuesday yet... going to be a very long day!!! i will check back and let everyone know how she is. thanks!!

I just said a prayer for your dd and you. I know how hard it is to have a child go through surgery and sometimes I think it's harder on us parents.

Maybe you can find a children's book in the library about the subject. I sort of remember a sesame street book about going to the hospital, it might even have been about elmo or grover getting their tonsils out. Anyway, it was YEARS ago, but maybe if she knows what to expect it won't be so scarey for her.

Your DD will be in my thoughts. My DS just had tubes put in on Thrusday...a simpler procedure than your DD will have but I was still a nervous wreck, so I understand your feelings. There were a couple of kids having the same operation as your daughter when we were there and all came out fine. It'll be harder on your than her!
