I have points available at all 4 DVC Resorts inside Disney World as well as Vero Beach. Since the Cristmas holiday period is very popular with DVC members, I would suggest you make arrangements for your points early enough so that the DVC member can place your reservation at the 11th month priority window to insure the completion of your reservation. With the exception of your January 1st night, these dates fall during the Premier (highest) points time of the year. Here are the points figures for your 9 nights (if I'm correct), depending on where you hope to stay:

170 points = OKW Studio (~$1,700)
212 points = Other DVC Studio (~$2,120)

342 points = OKW 1BR (~$3,420)
412 points = Other DVC 1BR (~$4,120)

468 points = OKW 2BR (~$4,680)
542 points = Other DVC 2BR (~$5,420)

The figures in parentheses are what it will cost you, if you pay the usual $10/point. However, for this kind of difficult reservation (member calls DVC early every morning to add each day to the reservation), you may not be able to get the points for less than $12-$13/point, even higher than the above quotes.

I'm a proponent of renting from timeshare owners/members. But I'm not sure if these dates for DVC points will actually save you enough money to be worthy of the added risks involved with private arrangements.
