Thumper managed to get himself out of his cage today and got tangled up in a plastic Disney Store bag I had under my bed.
It was really wrapped tightly around his back leg and I have no clue as to how long he was caught.
I noticed the leg was a little swollen so I held him and placed an ice bag on the leg. Well, that made the swelling three times as bad!!
He doesn't seem to be in any pain (as I sit here typing, he is sitting in the pet bed eatting Rice Krispies
) but the swelling really concerns me. Anyone know of the proper thing to do to relieve swelling aside from the ice?
Please send pixie dust if you can spare Thumper a moment of your time! (and send a little for me to help me get over the extreme guilt I am feeling right now.............

Let us know how he is hopping in the morning.
I hear him chomping away at the moment. I guess I'm taking this whole thing harder than he is!!

Maybe some shredded carrots for breakfast will be good for him..............and for a Mom's still hurting conscience!!
