So we leave Thursday for our 3 day, I am franticly trying to get everything done, including my pillowcases. I had them half done, then I went to put transfers on the back, and stupid me didn't put anything in between, and I ruined the front with the heat going through. I was so mad. So DH tells me to go out and buy the supplies to do them again (not like I don't have enough to do) and only do the front. So my questions are for those that have done pillowcases:

Do you do just front or front and back?

If you do both, what do you use in between?

DH wants me to do DD with princess clipart, should I be concerned that the princesses won't sign it?

O.k., off to pack some more. Thanks a bunch!!! :boat:

I've done many pillowcases and t-shirts with transfers on the front and back. What I have learned is that you iron "all" transfers on (front and back) before removing any backing. This has always worked for me. Good Luck!!!

BTW, I've never put anything in between the pillowcase either.

gshoemate - thanks for the link awesome clipart!

So are you sailing on the Wonder the 27th? So are we - my DD - 16 and me.

We are surprising my brother's family. They are already booked and don't know we are coming.

Hey guys, I only did the front side of the pillow case. I bought my transfer from Walmart, not sure of the brand. They worked great and it was a piece job.

I have read in recent trip reports of getting the pillowcases back with only the signatures on of the characters that were pictured when they were hoping for all character sigs.

I put black felt in between the layers so there would be no "bleed through" from the markers, worked great.

Best wishes on creating your pillowcases, my kids still love theirs and sleep on them every night ( 5 and nearly 8).

I would love to make these but I'm just not that crafty. I made some sweatshirts years ago, so I'm guessing that it's the same idea. If I want to print out a photo of my child to put on this pillowcase, is there actual paper that I can put in my computer to print on and then does this just iron on to the pillowcase. Is this stuff that I can get at Michaels? The photo of Verandah man's pillowcase came out beautiful, and got me thinking.... surely I can figure it out!!!

Thanks for any basic advice,
Jenn

The iron-on transfer paper can usually be found in any department store or office supply store, or you can check out www.avery.com
