Need opinion on Moderate Resorts

A friend wanted me to ask which moderate resort at WDW is the best.

I've only stayed at POR and CBR, but I LOVED POR. CBR is very nice, I'm not putting it down, I just wasn't crazy about the theming of the building I was in. POR on the other hand, was a beautiful building, lovely room, loved the main house, really enjoyed it.

I have only been to CBR...Loved it! we got an automatic upgrade to water view..corner room with 2 windows in building 25. Very close to the main building. I love the beach theme & the music there. The staff was great. One night we sat by the fountain & had a cold drink just relaxing.

Everybody loves different ones - we have stayed at 3 and rank them below....it really depends on what your friend is looking for in a hotel. We love both CSR and POR for different reasons. We have walked around POFQ and while it has many fans, it just didn't appeal to us. They should think about what is important such as pool, transportation, size of hotel, ease in getting around hotel, theme, food options......all come into play when making a decision. And sometimes when we made that phone call, it depended on what was available as well.

I have only stayed at CBR, but I loved it both times. Can you really go wrong with any of them? I think it depends on the theming and what may appeal to you, for me the tropical scenery is what sold me on CBR, but I can see the appeal of all the others as well. Hopefully I'll get to try a few others sometime soon!
