I'm almost done with our ADRs except for dinner on our last night. We won't be going to a park our last day because we'll be resting up from MNSSHP so I need an ADR for dinner at a resort or DTD. Here are all our ADRs so far what else would be good for me, DH and DD 4.5? We are pretty adventurous eaters and my DD doesn't like to eat the usual kids fare like chicken fingers for dinner.

9/24-Crystal Palace Dinner
9/25-Chef Mickeys Dinner
9/26-Mama Melrose Dinner
9/27-PSB Dinner
9/28-Coral Reef Dinner
9/29-Le Cellier Lunch

Boma at the AKL
Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL
Kona Cafe at the Pol

I would go Boma. My 2nd choice would be 'Ohana. Third would be House of Blues.

I have been considering Kona because I read some really good things on the board. I don't think I want to do another buffet so that would rule out Boma. The menu at Whispering Canyon doesn't really excite me even though I have heard that it is a fun experience. I was also thinking about Spoodles but I have read good and bad things about that one.

I would go with Kona then. It's really good..I suggested BOMA because you said you were adventurous, and it is a very adventurous place.

I never see any bad reports about Spoodles..It's supposed to be very good.

My DD loved Planet Hollywood. There's a wide range of food--hamburgers, steak, seafood, salads, etc. Spoodles is good. Boma is good. If you want atmosphere, 1900 Park Fare (character dinner).

I would suggest going to Jiko at the AKL resort. It is our favorite place to eat at WDW. Your daughter will love seeing the animals outside at the resort. It is a beautiful place to explore. :)

I'd suggest Jiko at the AKL. Although I am a huge Boma fan, it can't compare to Jiko.

I would try 'Ohana! Do you have any Brazilian Restaurants in New York?Ones where Gaucho's serve roasted meat on a Skewer? These restaurants in the Chicagoland area are very popular now and run anywhere from $80 to $95 a person!!!! 'Ohana has the same theory included in their Family Style Meal...an experience you may not be able to afford back home,,,for free at Disney!!
Enjoy!!

I'd say comparing Ohana to a good Churrascaria is a weak comparison at best. Not even close.

SORRY,,,,,,,,,,,I DID SAY"SAME THEORY" NOT EXACT SAME QUALITY

We've booked 1900 Park Fare for dinner before MNSSHP. :)

It's a buffet (suits all types of folks) and DD (almost 5) will get to see Cinderella and Prince Charming! :teeth:

As others have said Kona is a great choice. Maya Grill at Coronado Springs is also good.

I did make an ADR for Jiko based on a friends recommendation but we are on the dining plan and my DH has vetoed going to any 2 TS credit places :sad2: . I like the adult menu for Kona but the kids menu only has typical stuff. My 4 year old DD tells everyone her favorite food is salmon and wants to order that or steak at restaraunts. I have been debating about Ohana but I think on our last night I would rather not do a buffet or family style food. Maybe we'll try Spoodles because they have a steak on the kids menu.

 How about the Concourse Steakhouse at the CR? They have a steak on the kids menu. Kids can even order a shrimp cocktail appetizer :woohoo:

We ate at the Concourse last year and had a good meal so I made an ADR for this year but then I decided to cancel it to try Le Cellier. These ADRs are driving me crazy  especially now that we added 2 more days to our trip.

I know what you mean about making adrs....it can drive you nuts :goodvibes

How about Coral Reef? I know it isn't salmon but they have grilled mahi on the kids menu.

I know don't know how this works on the dining plan...1 TS or 2 TS credits...but another option may be Portobello Yacht Club...they have a steak and fish of the day on the kids menu.

Good luck :sunny:
