We just returned from stay at WDW. I wish I had bought this book while we were there, so now I'm trying to order from Disney.
It was a large hard-bound book, maybe 12" x 9", about 1" thick. It had pictures of and talked about gardens in WDW.
I called WDW Mail Order and described it to the CM. She asked where I saw it, and I told her Disneys Wonderful World of Memories in the Marketplace (I saw it elsewhere also). She put me on hold while she called the store to find out the title.
After a few minutes she came back, saying the store is very busy and not answering the phone. She took my name & number and said she would try them again & call me back. That was on Thursday, I have not received a call back yet. I'm considering calling again, and just thought I would put the question out there to see if anyone knows the exact name so it would not be such a hassle.
Shouldn't it be easier to order items from WDW? Don't they have listings, for example: Merchandise: books: gardening: WDW: hardbound; then list all matches. I only remember seeing 2 books about gardens in WDW. One was hardbound, one was not.
Anyway, enough complaining. I should have bought it. But I'm thinking about giving it to DH for Xmas, so it would have difficult to purchase a large book w/o him seeing, we were together in all stores
(I guess I could have asked him to wait outside) then I could have shipped it home (to workplace).
I appreciate any info all of you avid gardeners can give me.
By the way, yesterday I started "fall cleanup" around the yard. It seems we forget about this in the Spring when everything is in bloom and I go out and purchase more perenials
