Need More Aulani Points (Purchasing Transfer Points)

Hi DVC Family!

I recently booked a deluxe studio at AUL using borrowed AUL points. I have been thinking about upgrading it to a 1 BR but would still come up short 59 points after borrowing the remainder of the AUL points.

If I were to purchase more AUL points for transfer into my account, could I use them with my current reservation now at the 10 month window or are transferred points only allowed to be used at the 7 month window?

Would it be better to wait until the 7 month window and pull from another contract I own? I have not purchased any points for rent/transfer so the process it a little new to me.

Transfer points keep their home resort priorities, so for a reservation at 10 months you would have to get Aulani points.

And you’ll have to call since transfer points are invisible online.

You could transfer points in from an AUL owner but you may have trouble finding someone who is willing to use their only transfer in/out for only 59 points. If you’re successful, you would be able to use those transferred points right away provided that the reservation falls within their UY. And you would have to call MS to make the reservation.
