BTW, you can keep your leaves, we have plenty of our own, thanks. DH was out raking/mowing and it starting raining, lighting, thunder, the whole bit. Weird weather.
Yes, as golfgal said above, the village vacuums the leaves every week for about 5 weeks in the Fall, since they can not be burned. Another week or so, the leaf apparatus comes off and the snow removal mode is set up on the trucks, plow hithes and salt backs for the trucks. There sure are a lot of leaves, about this amount every week.skiwee1 said:Why are they all raked into the side of the roads? Did they just happen to fall that way? Are you planning or bagging them?


He normally will 'disappear' into the pile, you'll see the leaves suddenly moving, then POOF! The pile is once again all over your yard.
Needless to say, the kids do NOT appreciate his gesture of kindness.
