I wish I had some leaves. The palm trees are bright green and the lawn is too. I really miss the 4 seasons.

They must have a leaf pick up service. There is a company in our town that does that.

BTW, you can keep your leaves, we have plenty of our own, thanks. DH was out raking/mowing and it starting raining, lighting, thunder, the whole bit. Weird weather.

A leaf pick up service? That sounds nice! The only thing with my yard is all the trees are in the back of my 1/2 acre lot. I'd have to rack about 100 bags worth of leaves to the curb!

Yes, as golfgal said above, the village vacuums the leaves every week for about 5 weeks in the Fall, since they can not be burned. Another week or so, the leaf apparatus comes off and the snow removal mode is set up on the trucks, plow hithes and salt backs for the trucks. There sure are a lot of leaves, about this amount every week.

The leaves around here aren't all down just yet - here's a picture that I took in a park that I took the kids to today. Pretty ain't it?!

Can I send Tazz over?? He loves running through piles of leaves. He normally will 'disappear' into the pile, you'll see the leaves suddenly moving, then POOF! The pile is once again all over your yard. Needless to say, the kids do NOT appreciate his gesture of kindness.
