need info on Nick hotel

Last year there was a special rate that was offered at the NY Times vacation show at the Javitz Center. Someone posted the code here. You did not have to prove that you went to the show to use the code. I don't remember what the discount was, or what the time frame was for using it, but I do remember that it was a substantial discount. The show is next weekend, so maybe someone that goes will post a code or maybe you can call after next weekend to inquire about it. Good luck!

Hi all! We took our little girl to Disney last year for her 4th Birthday! She was really into Dora and Spongebob and considered them to be part of the trip so we stayed at the Nick Hotel! We loved it! Our room was awesome. Very clean and comfortable. It is very close to all the parks. She loved the poolside games and the water towers. She had her face painted and best of all-- her hair braided like all the little ones in Florida seem to have. We had a meal with all the characters and she also did a Dora activity. My advice is to check the website and call daily for rates b/c they change all the time. I had one reservation booked-- and checked online and the rates were lower than before so I called in and they changed them for me. We are planning to go back again probably next year to do Disney and the Nick Hotel. I also would recommend a whole day just for the hotel. We stayed at Disney 8 days so we picked 2 downtime days just for the fun at the hotel.

PS-- another funny part-- they do a Nick stage show and my husband wore a diaper and had a pie smashed in his face!! :) :rotfl2:

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

i called about the fun for all, or something for $129 and just missed it, so i put a hold on the $179/night but i plan on looking all the time..

Keep an eye out if you are looking for Oct. Last year in October we had a rate of $125 for a 2 bedroom. Those rates came out in early summer. Check travelzoo regularly. This was my kids favorite resort ever. You will not be able to pull them away to go to the park so schedule it for an extra day. Calling will get you a better rate than the website. good luck

Called again for October. Still no good deals for my dates.

How crowded do you think this hotel will get the last weekend before Halloween?

we were talking to a few employees and they said every weekend is very busy with locals and tourists. Starting last year, we plan it for the end of our trip when we're pretty much done with the parks. We only went for 2 nights last year and we're planning on three night this year, both starting on Sunday, so we can avoid that!! Good Luck!!

The only time I can vist is the Friday, Saturday & Sunday before Halloween. I have a feeling it will be packed. I just refuse to Pay $300 per night for Friday & Saturday. The worse case would be cutting the Nick Hotel visit to 1 night, Sunday for about $200. And spending Friday & Saturday at the Royal Pacific.

Do they ever have price breaks or specials on Friday & Saturdays. Or are the good rates & promos mostly for Sunday thru Thursday?
