Need ideas for paying it forward at WDW

Going with a group of HS students who would like to do a paying it forward scavenger hunt. So far I have:
1. find a small princess and ask for her autograph, pose for a photo with said princess (if parents will allow)
2. pass out glow bracelets before a nightitme event like a parade ro fireworks
3. pass out stickers to a (create criteria)
4. pass out temporaty tats to (create criteria)
5. used to do fast passes, but can't pull them at all parks anymore, not sure what to replace it with
6. random act of "turkey legging"

If you can add more, please share. I love that my students want to do this...

In the spirit of #1 include a small prince or small pirate to the option..

"Turkey Legging" is when you buy a Turkey leg for someone.
Like paying for the person behind you in line....

Disney themed snacks (gummies, cookies, etc) are great to give kids in long lines. We've done this before when waiting to board DME & well received by parents.

Make small Disney themed word searches and pass out with small pencils (like the ones at bowling alley's, golf courses) for kids waiting in lines.

Kudos to your students for adding to the magic of Disney!

Ask parents if it's ok to sprinkle "pixie dust" aka body glitter on little princesses heads. This happened to dd and her cousin last time we were there.

Offer to take pictures of a family or group maybe with props-Mickey Hands, etc.

buy an ice cream for someone... DS did this on one of our trips when he was about 15 for a young lady he met, she later told him she was lactose intolerant

Don't forget that the dollar store usually has lots of cheap disney stuff. Stickers, bracelets, crayons, pirate eye patches, etc.

Get an autograph book and ask young princesses for their autograph

Maybe they could get some of the free cups of water from the counter service places and offer them to thirsty-looking families?

I love this idea. Disney trips can be stressful for parents and anything that can be done to help out would mean a lot.

Although some of these things sound nice in theory, they are not really practical.
Distributing the free water. The students would have to stand on line to get the water and then find someone to give it to. They would cause the people behind them on line to wait longer and honestly if someone I didn't know handed me a glass of water I wouldn't drink it and neither would my kids.
A turkey leg is expensive. Unless you buy the leg for the guy behind you, they would have to find someone and randomly hand them a turkey leg? Again I wouldn't eat it.

If you decide to do this, I would concentrate on small things, give up your seat to someone on a bus with a stroller and hold the stroller (although again ymmv with this one as some people have expansive strollers that they wouldn't want out of their sight). Offer to take a photo for someone. Help someone who dropped their bag.

Again all good ideas but I would be mortified if my students didn't offer to give up seats on the bus, or hold a door open... these are basic things they know are expected of them before we leave, lol!
Turkey leg, ice cream, balloons etc are paid for by me, not them. And yes, they are paying it forward by prepaying for the next person in line where food is concerned.
As a PP suggested they do need to be practical as the studnets are there to enjoy the parks as well.

Love this idea!! My kids had 4 FP to Splash Mtn. and walked the queue line looking for a family to give them to. They found one and the pleasure it brought my kids and the tired mom/dad with 2 little kids was wonderful. Too bad FP isn't an option.

Other FREE and EASY TO DO WHILE THEY ARE HAVING FUN ideas:
*Save good parade seats and then give them to a family with little ones that
can't see if they aren't in front.
*Kind words for the CM's that make our trips special
*If traveling by plane, trade seats with someone sitting by little ones (we
moms sometimes worry about our little ones bothering others) and help
make the flight fun for the little one.
*Let someone go in front of you that is waiting in a long restroom line.
*Leave magazines you've already read in the airport for someone waiting for
flight with nothing to do.
*Hold the door or elevator for someone
*Say kind words to a manager about a waiter/waitress.
*Stop and thank a soldier (they are all over the airport) for their service.

Not sure how much time you guys have before the trip, or how much money you're wanting to invest in this, but this idea would be useful for years to come (and could be used for a fundraiser at school).

Button making machine. Have the kids come up with some sort of idea/design for the buttons, then make up a bunch of them to carry around and give to the people they help. Maybe even have a website set up that those people (if they choose) could visit when they get home and leave a note of thanks and the city/state/country they're from, so the students could see how (literally) how far their kindness traveled.
