Need Ideas for gift ideas for wedding guests...

Some of you may know, I am going on a cruise to get married on St. Thomas. There are about 9 people going with us. Parents, Sibs and a few friends. I would like to do nice gifts for everyone as a Thank You for joining us. I don't know what to do.

I wanted to get Frames from Things Remembered engraved with messages for everyone and put pictures from the cruise of the people with us in them and send them, but obviously that won't be until after the cruise.

I have gifts for the matron of honor and the best man but wanted to do something for everyone else as well. It has to be somethign I can pack or ship to San Juan and carry on the ship.

Any ideas or suggestions????? I have no clue and no good ideas...

something cruise or beach related?

personalized beach towels, sunblock, flipflops, etc and place it all in a nice beach bag? You could go all out with this depending on what your budget is. Look at Restoration Hardware or Martha Stewart.com, they have some really nice summer stuff.

Shipboard credit?

A bouquet of flowers or some treats sent to their rooms?

If you really want to use the photo frame idea (which I think is a terrific idea!!) then, why not do the frames ahead of time and a blank sheet of paper where the pic would be that says "good for a copy of wedding pic taken while on the cruise" or something like that.
I took my daughter on a trip as her graduation present. We went over easter break. For my xmas gift, she gave me a frame and put a note inside that we would put a pic of the two of us in it after our trip. It now sits on my desk with a pic of the two of us with Mickey!! It is one of my favorite all time gifts!

Thanks for the ideas... I was thinking of the gift bags too! My mom thought that for a cruise people would bring sunscreen and stuff though.... I like the towel idea though.... I was going to make luggage tags for everyone and laminate them and send them ahead of time to everyone!

how about personalized gift baskets that are in their rooms when they board the ship or arrive at the hotel? You can make each basket different according to their taste and personality and your pocket book. Good luck--Tina

I woudl do something that you can leave in their room for them... like some brides do OOT bags for the hotels... you know?

I like the cruise/beach idea. BIG beach bags, monogrammed with their names (so they don't get lost in the shuffle of people on the ship and beach!) filled with things like:

- disposable camera
- bottle of wine and glasses
- candle for their room
- some snacks/cokes for their room
- stationary/postcards already stamped
- beach towel
- maybe GC for spa services, or to help pay for "extras" on the trip
- GC's or vouchers for shore excursions? Like parasailing, scuba, etc
- personalized CD with you and your FI's fave songs...

I honestly have never cruised so I dont know if candles/wine/etc are even allowed. So that may not be an option. I think ANYTHING you give them will be MUCH appreciated, and you can always sned them the frame with pic later when you send them a thank you card for attending the wedding =)

My friend did the personalized CDs with their favorite songs. I can honestly say that it's the one wedding favor gift that I actually use. I like listening to the songs, but it also reminds me of the happy couple.
