Okay, thanks in advance for reading this post! I am recently engaged and I was planning a December 2006 wedding at my church (sorry, no Disney wedding here)
. I just found out that my church is booked for the whole month of December. A church wedding in my church is VERY important to me. Well, my mom has already spent thousands of dollars on the theme (Winter Wonderland). I DO NOT want to change the theme. The colors are going to be silver, ice blue, and white. Keep in mind, all of this was planned with an early December date in mind. We just found out this afternoon that the closest to that we can have the wedding is November 4th. I am not for the post-Christmas wedding at all.
Okay, now to my question. Do y'all think it would be cheesy to have a Winter Wonderland wedding in early November? I live in Florida so there is a chance it will be 75+ degrees. The wedding will be indoors and so will the reception. Lots of snowflakes and Christmas trees and fake snow. Is this something guests will laugh at? I wanted to serve hot chocolate, egg nog, and sparkling cider. Cheesy or no? Honest opinions please. What would you think if you were a guest at a winter themed wedding in November?
Thank y'all so much! I need unbiased opinions!
