need help

Ok...i posted this on the orlando hotels and attractions board in the disney forums...no one...not a single person answered...so I came here, I know someone here would answer. We are checking into royal pacific on july 1, but we are coming into orlando on sat the 30th. We want to go downtown disney for the night and need a hotel very close to DT disney. Any suggestions? Just a nice clean inexpensive place to stay for one night.
also, what is maingate east, west?

I dont know of any hotels near downtown Disney but I am sure if you stay anywhere near US/IOA you will be able to get a car service or a cab to take you to Disney. We do the same thing. We drive down the day before check in and stay offsite. We booked a room at the Country Inn Suites.

I just booked a room through hotwire for 59.00 it ended up being at the Radisson Worldgate somewhere near the entrance of Disney...the front desk lady told me it was like 15 min to DTD. I guess for 59 bucks i can drive a little further.
