Hi, Congratulations to the whole family!
My DS and DIL had a great shower, I thought. Not triplets, but I think the ideas might be even better for the triplet Mom. The shower host invited the men as well as the women since the men in their group are all very involved with baby and child care.

In fact my DS, who is a contract editor, works out of their home and is primary caretaker for Miss Amelia.
The best thing that helped the new parents, though, is the the shower hostess had put together a sign up sheet and posted it in a prominent place near the door. Guests were asked to sign up to bring a dinner meal for the new parents following the birth of the baby - with the date they were offering to bring the meal.

Close friends were encouraged to sign up more than once as they had places slotted for three weeks following the baby's birth. It was explained that this way the new parents could attend to baby care and sleeping the first demanding weeks and bringing the meal over would provide friends and family an opportunity to see the new little one without everyone showing up at once and exhausting the parents.... the list was then posted on line so folks could go to it if they forgot when their :date" was.
The other thing the hostess did was ask everyone to take a sharpie and write a little note of good wishes or a poem or something funny on a cut out that the hostess had prepared in advance. The little wishes

were strung on ribbon and were brought to the hospital to hang above the new mother's bed while she was there. She and my DS just loved it and treasure it still. See the little darlin below in my signature! Not the dogs, silly!
