Need Help with Split Stay / Inventory / Reservation Changes

Last minute stay for this coming Wednesday for 7 Day / 6 nights. Looked into a Moderate and was available. Then I decide to surprise my DH for his bday with the last nights at Deluxe (that was all I could swing). There was a 4 night at Moderate and 2 Night at Deluxe. This was perfect. I booked Deluxe first and then went to book the Moderate and it was not available. I went into a panic. I was there was 3 Night Moderate available so I booked. Then I saw there was 1 Night available the next night (before the Deluxe) same room type so booked. But that means 3 reservations and moving twice. That's too much. Once to go to the Deluxe is fine but this doesn't seem relaxing.

Questions...
Since the two Moderate reservations are the same room type and rate. Can they be combined together so I would not be able to change rooms at the Moderate?

I looked at availabilty for the Moderate for 5 Nights and 6 Nights for the Moderate. So why can't those lengths be shorten so I may have a 4 Night Moderate.

Problem changes can be made by 7/12 so I have to figure it out by today.

Can anyone at reservations override to make it 5 night Moderate shorten to be 4 night OR merge the two Moderate Reservations?

The booking algorithm is trying to avoid orphan nights.

You should be able to have them mark the 2 moderate reservations as a continuing stay. You can also try for them to drop the extra night on the 5 night reservation, but your mileage may vary.

Call Disney to see if they can combine the two 407- 939-5277. Try to do it ahead of time so you don't have to waste vacation time at the front desk figuring it out!

Just checking your dates and I see a few moderates available for July 17-21 even with a discount. I'm not sure which moderate you booked?
