Hi, everyone! :goodvibes

My fiance and I booked our first trip to Disney World for December 2007!! We're sooooooooooooo thrilled!!! We're really new at this and the restaurant list at allears is so overwhelming, so..

We wanted to ask the advice of the Disney vets to give some suggestions for a Monday-Sunday sample of how you would handle meals for the week for just the two of us. We have the DDP for our trip. :goodvibes We're both children at heart so if any of the character meals are appropriate please suggest! I want to start calling my reservations in tomorrow so hopefully we could get something nice! We're looking for more of a fun getaway moreso than a romantic one, but we're hoping to strike a balance.

So far the ideas that struck me are Whispering Canyon, Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Beaches and Cream (for dessert) - but I'm not sure what else..

Thank you for reading!! :goodvibes

Some of our favorites places when it was just the two of us were Artist Point, Spoodles, Garden Grill (fun character meal), Brown Derby and Fulton's Crab House.

LeCellier is a place that we never miss. We also enjoy Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Teppanyaki and Kona Cafe. Chef Mickey's is a fun character meal.

On our May visit, we went to the Maya Grill @ Coronado Springs and really enjoyed it. We'll be going back there over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'd also recommend the Pepper Market @ Coronado Springs for a quick service. This is another place we always visit.

You'll really enjoy the meal plan and getting to try so many different places.

You will hear a lot of different opinions but I really like Sci-Fi at MGM. The onion rings, burgers and milk shakes are very good. But what really makes this place is the atmosphere.

Chef Mickeys is a great place for a character meal. It's my favorite first night place. It really sets the "Disney mood":)

I also like 'Ohana at the poly and dinner at LTT at MK.

There are many great choices at EPCOT and I'm not sure you can really go wrong.

Have fun!!!

Like TNBeauty LeCellier is one I never miss. If you are planning to see Fantasmic, I recommend the Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose - you'll get a reserved seat at Fantasmic so you won't have to be there an hour ahead and you will only use one table service credit. I also enjoy Boma as far as buffets go and I am a big fan of WCC. Don't forget to ask for ketchup - even if you really don't need it.:rotfl2:

These are great suggestions! Thank you!

I'm assuming that you do Chef Mickey's for dinner on the first day? Is it a good breakfast choice, too? :)
