I have had my Nikon D90 since last Oct. I admit I'm still a bit of a novice....

I went away for 2 nights early this week with a family reunion. I bought a SB600 flash so we could get a decent group photo at dinner. I only took a handful of photos with a fully charge camera battery to start.

The next day the camera was saying that the battery needed to be charged. The camera was working fine without a flash once I installed the new battery.

Today I was viewing a few photos and camera was fine. I put the flash on to take a photo and it said the battery needed to be charged. So I charged the battery and put the fully charged battery in and it still says I need to charge the battery.

I am going to Disney on Wednesday.:scared1:

I do have a 2nd Nikon battery. I think I've been having problems with both batteries.

I have the battery charging in a new outlet.

Any suggestions on what to try next?

Should I try purchasing a new charger?

I did a google search on Nikon D90 battery error and found an old thread here on the photography board.

Seems like the memory stick might be the problem or the camera body.:scared1: Hopefully I can make it through the trip without too much hassle and if it keeps happening at Disney I'll get in touch with Nikon.
