Need help with MBs & tickets & MDE

Generally speaking I’m on top of things but the new Magic Bands, FP+ and what not has made things confusing for me and I don’t want to screw anything up.

I’m at 88 days right now and when I get to 60 obviously want to have things all lined up correctly to make FP+ selections.

Took the family on a trip out there in Nov 2013 and had our customized MBs sent to us. Still have them on my office desk and I see them on my MDE account. However I’m also given the option to customize a new set of MBs (by March 18). Should I do customize new ones ASAP and just disregard the old ones?

I don’t have my park tickets yet. Would like to keep that as cheap as possible early on so I may just get base tickets so I can make my FP+ selections. I can add on water park option to that when I arrive, correct?

When should I get my tickets (latest possible time but not too late to risk the FP+ selections at 60 days out) and at this point is Disney the best place to order them to be able to link them easiest?

So many questions though nothing overly complicated. My main goal is just to be in prime position at 60 days out. I appreciate any help.

On the magic bands it's completely your choice. In my opinion if your getting something for free that's new why not use those ones. Gives you a chance to snag a different color. Yes you can always add the water park option on to your tickets at a later date if you choose too do that. Just get your tickets about 65 out just so you have a little leeway. Most tickets come with a code you can plug into your MDE (undercover tourist, tickets at work etc.) so it is super easy to link them to your account. But you could always go through disney if you don't mind paying a couple extra dollars.

It seems like you have everything in order, just make sure you have your FP+ picked out and if possible get on asap on the 60 day mark so you can make sure you get your must do's booked. Have fun!
