Here's what's happenin':
About a dozen or so our of youth amateur Circus are in the Indianpolis Civic Theatre' "Barnum" Production. We had a huge tech rehearsal this weekend and we (parents & Circus crew) decided that we need to have pizza or some type of food for the kids every night. We will be leaving at 5pm every night for rehearsals and performances and will be gone for 6-7 hours each night. These kids are in school during the day and their famlies are also busy getting everybody organized, so we aren't going to ask them to send a snacks or food. I need to organize something for 12-14 nights.

Here's what I need to know:
Who delivers GOOD pizza in the area? Any other food deliveries that would teens would like? We want to do something nice for them but none of us are from the area. It doesn't have to be a complete meal. I'm also going to contact some of the Civic people but thought that somebody here might have some good ideas.

Any ideas, too, about some neat food that I could make and send with them? Somthing that doesn't require keeping hot or cool that teens would enjoy? Quite frankly, the kids would probably LOVE pizza every night but I wouldn't mind giving them a variety. Something not messy and easy for them to clean up. (Most adults with the kids will be helping wth the equipment on stage.)

Thanks!

I make my own bread dough, but the frozen stuff works, too.

Roll out small circles of dough, add meats, mozz. cheese and sauce. Fold over and bake. You can refrigerate or freeze them. Send in a cooler (don't even need to add ice) and they'll be fine to serve at room temp.

When we did shows at our local theater, water was in short supply, so lots of bottled water and easy snack foods would be good, too, granola bars, fruit snack packs. And the kids really enjoyed fresh fruit -- grapes, bananas, etc., that don't need to be kept real cold.

I would contact the local Subway or Jersey Mikes to get either a large sandwich, or a platter of subs made up. I would also see if there is a taco/burritto place in the area that would cater a taco bar. Maybe there is a Bucca di Beppo or Olive Garden that will prepare pasta and meatballs/sausages to carry out. I am sure Indianapolis will have a wide variety of the chains to chose from.

Claudia, there is a Papa Johns a couple miles down the street from there.

The intesection of 38 and Lafayette road will give you a lot of options for other restaurants. I think Fazoli's caters too. There are a lot of restaurants on/near that corner, and almost any direction you go from there. sit down and fast food

Also 16th street and Tibbs has a lot of fast food places to chose from.
There are more sit down/fast food in speedway.

But Papa Johns, and you can order online. Or pizza hut. I don't know of any other pizza places that will deliver.

Here are some suggestions:

Jimmy John's subs in Broad Ripple

Fazolis Italian

Blimpie Subs

Subway Subs

Olive Garden on 38th St.

Qdoba Mexican (they cater/do carryout)

Chik-Fil-A

Feel free to pm me, I live in the area of MC.

There is every pizza chain too!
