Help! I am planning a vacation to WDW in early December. We are likely going to rent a house offsite because of the size of our family. We are 1 dad, 1 mom, 2 teenage daughters, 1 teenage son, 1 jr high-aged son, and 2 pre-K daughters. It has been 8 years since we have been to WDW (first time for our little girls) and I'm really lost in trying to figure out what kinds of passes would be the most cost-effective for us. We are planning to be in WDW for 7 days and we want to make the most of it. I'm sure that we will want to spend a couple of days in the MK. I'm guessing 1 day each for Epcot and MGM. My older kids will want to do a water park. Not sure if we want to go to AK (never been there before).
I know this will be costly as most of my kids will qualify as adult admission!
What would be the most cost effective for us? We also want to do at least 1 character meal for the whole family as a special treat for the little ones. I think we also want to do MVMCP also. Is there anything else this time of year that's a must see?
How do I figure this out? I'm guessing that I'm not going to be able to do a one-stop shopping for our tickets. I just feel a little overwhelmed and I don't want to spend more than I have to!
