Hi everyone!
My day to book is Friday and I am having trouble deciding on everything.
We are thinking of doing Biergarten or Coral Reef on Christmas Eve. What are your thoughts on this? Please Help!

What table service would you suggest on Christmas Day for dinner? Would Whispering Canyon be good or Kona Cafe? Any other suggestions?
I just want to be sure everyone has a good time and enjoys their meals. We have never all been there together and have been so looking forward to this Christmas:santa:

We are also thinking of doing the O'Hana and Boma for breakfasts. Would you suggest any other breakfasts instead of these? Thank you soooo much for your help!!

Question, for x-mas eve and x-mas isn't the dayt o start booking 180 days? so that would be 6/27 for 12/24 and 6/28 for 12/25? Asking because I want to make sure i book.

There is the 180 + 10 rule so it starts on the day you check in.
Any suggestions on restaurants?

I've also narrowed it down to Whispering Canyon or Kona for X-mas day (except we are doing lunch). One thing to take into consideration, both for Xmas day and eve is that some restaurants have special holiday menus. Here is the link for how things looked for Xmas 2006...

http://allearsnet.com/menu/men_christmas.htm

Some people might like a traditional holiday selection, I however do not. That's why I'm tentatively choosing Kona over WCC, I'm pretty sure they are going the "holiday fare" route.

I got our xmas day adr on Monday and we got Kona cafe at 7.10pm.Its not a special set menu so you can choose from the normal menu.It may also not be traditional but it sounds fun.I hope you get what you choose.

I rang to book CRT the other day and asked the CM when I would be able to book for 12/25. He told me that it would be 6/27. We are not staying onsite so couldn't book the 10days out.

OK, this makes me nervous. According to the trip calculator I'm using I can book X-mas day on 6/28. Anyone, am I wrong. Help.

No idea when they'll give us X-mas 2007 info. I talked to Disney dining yesterday about this. Right now they have Thanksgiving info, but no Christmas info.

Princessbelle39 -It freaked me out thinking I was going to call on the wrong day so I just dialed them and a CM confirmed that booking for X-mas day can happen on 6/28. No reason not to try on the 27th, the worst that can happen is they'll say call back tomorrow, I just really did not want to be calling a day late.

I have just used the calculator on this site and it gave me 6/27 for Christmas Day.

I have also just hung up from booking the rest of my ADR's

1 Dec. Crystal Palace Breakfast 9:15am
4 Dec. Hollywood & Vine (Playhouse Disney) Lunch 12:25pm
7 Dec. Ohana Dinner 8:00pm (a bit disapointed we couldnt get earlier)
10 Dec. Boma Dinner 6:50pm
12 Dec. Chef Mickeys Breakfast 9:40am
16 Dec. 50's Prime Time Dinner 7:45pm (again wish we had earlier)

Also booked BBB at the Magic Kingdom for 8 Dec. which is the same day we already have CRT booked.
And Wonderland Tea Party for 12 Dec. This is going to be a problem for us as only 3 of the girls are allowed to go. The other is only 3 and they wont accept her.

The only things I couldn't book are Princess Storybook breakfast for 23 Dec. - the CM said ring back on 25 June for that.
And Christmas Day...she said call back on 27 June for that one. Which is what the CM told me the other day.
It seems to depend on who you speak to.

I'm like you...I'm so scared we will miss out on Christmas Day which is the main meal we are after. We are travelling such a long way and I really want everything to be perfect.

i was told to call on the 28th when i called this morning for CRT breakfast.

I went ahead and booked another breakfast incase i did not get the CRT one.

So for now I have Ohana Xmas morning at 8am, they are totally open that morning so if you want to secure something that maybe a good choice. We have young kids thought it may be a fun start to the day.

Dinner is at Crystal Palace for us at 5:30. I made it kinda early incase the kids started to drag after a long day. then if they want to get the heck out of there we will still of had a nice dinner.

I just tried the calculator linked to allearsnet and that said 28June for 180days out. Different to the one on this board. But when I manually count it 28 June is correct. I'm confused because I have been told 27th by 2 different CM. :headache: I guess I'm just gonna try every day until someone takes a booking.:santa: :confused3

I phoned Disney and was told that I could start booking June 27 and our check in day is Dec.23. I asked about the 180 days + 10.She told me it doesn't mean you have 190 days out to book if you are staying on site. She said it means that you can book 180 days out and then if you were staying on site you could book for the next 10 days of your stay in one phone call. Sorry I don't have any advice about restaurants it's our first stay-just thought I'd share the info. I was told in regards to booking.

we check in on 14th December, so far I have been able to book the following :

18th December Liberty Tree at 6.00pm
22nd December Turf Club at 8.00pm
23rd December Prime Time at 4.00pm
Christmas Day Artist Point at 7.00pm
27th December Yachtsman at 7.00pm

yesterday they wouldn't let me book after the 27th, I don't know if this helps or just adds more confusion, I agree that it really seems to depend on who you speak to.

Well I made 3 phone calls this morning so far. I keep thinking of new things to add or realize that like BBB I can book now. So they all tell me June 28th is the date for Xmas morning.

I am going to go with it after i spoke to 3 diffrent people, I am thinking it must be that day.

The woman told me that " they do not release times out if your not at 180 days. thats why they ask your arrival date when it comes up they are not able to get into it on the computer. the dates are not open for us on the 25th if thats the date you want:teacher: :surfweb:

Most meals can be booked at 180 days from the first day of your visit (if you are staying on site) for up to 10 days of vacation, but some are not allowing it for some reason...not sure why..I know CRT is one of them and there were a couple others on my list too...can't remember for sure which ones.

If you are within 180 days of your first day of vacation, I'd start calling and trying to book your Christmas meal...and remember different CM's will tell you different things, so if you read on here that someone else was able to book the place you are wanting, just call back and get a different CM.
