We are coming for our 2nd (ever) family trip to Disney in July. It will be me and my husband, our 7 year old and 3 year old. We are renting from a DVC member. Our view is stated as "Standard", but what types of views or areas of the resort should/could we request? Which do you think would be best for our family considering children's ages? I would appreciate any and all feedback you can give me.
Thank you so much!!

Standard view is the one wing of the hotel facing the entrance/drive leading up to the entrance, so there's not a specific area you can request really.

If you want to be close to the elevator, you can request that(there's only one set of elevators and the hallways are long) or if you want to see Illuminations fireworks from your room, you can request a room farther from the elevator on a higher floor.
We always get standard view at the BWV and think it's great.

A standard view doesn't offer you many options to request. The standard view rooms look out on the entrance drive up to the BWV. You could request a high floor or low floor and you could request far from the elevators or close. The farther you are from the elevators and the hgiher your floor, the better you can see the EPCOT fireworks. Make sure the person you rented from calls DVC and out the requests in ahead of time.
