Need help with a disney cake!

I hope you don't mind me barging in for a minute. I'm working on my final cake for cake decorating class. My final cake is a two tier wedding cake and I'd like to do a disney themed cake.

What kind of designs would you like to see on a wedding cake? What's the one thing you wouldn't want to see? Favorite colors? least favorite colors?

white, silver, gold, hidden mickeys! I would personally do the cake like that...others may like the bright, primary, fab 5 colors. Really, the possibilities are endless! You can do princesses, castles, etc. A neat idea if you're a belle fan would be to decorate the tiers like her yellow dress...hmm...

I like Ivory, I think it's very elegant. Also, I love it when there's a design on the cake, like the pattern of a lace or embroidery. I love the idea of Hidden mickeys! (These are the things I'd like to incorperate into my wedding cake!) I don't think the pattern should be ALL OVER, but in spots that make it elegant, maybe on the edge/side but not on top. Or maybe on Top but not on the edge/side. Whatever you come up with, I'd love to see the desgin in the end! Good luck with it!

When I took the cake decorating classes, I ended up doing a two tiered cake covered in white fondant. I then took my piping bag with a tip 4 and did tiny Mickey heads all over the cake! Just three little dots strategically placed...and then I did the ruffled border around both...

There are so many creative things you can do! Would love to see the final product!!

The mad hatter cake is awesome and very "in" I would love to see it in more bridally colors but still have the same spunk ala Colette Peters! She does awesome stuuf.

There's a slide show somewhere on the net with all kinds of Disney wedding cakes from the GF bakery. Maybe that could give you inspiration to start?

Also, I think about every Disney-movie or character can inspire a cake.
