We will be celebrating my niece's birthday at Disney. I would like to make some kind of Mickey shaped form to attach money to. Anybody have any ideas.

I craft impaired. No ideas. But I thought I would bump this back to page one for you :)

I'm not crafty at all but I will rack my brain but usually I fuzz out when it comes to crafts.:D

Fun! How about three styrofoam balls painted black? You could just stick paper clips into the styrofoam and clip the money to the paperclips. Or you could draw a simple Mickey form on a piece of poster board and tape the money around it! Let me think a little...

Are crazy ideas acceptable?

One year for Christmas I wanted to give my son some money, but I didn't want to do it in just any old way, so . . .

I bought a loaf of bread, folded the bills (ones, fives, tens, and twenties) in half, and inserted one bill between each slice of the loaf. Then, I stuck the whole loaf back in the bread's original wrapper. Hey kid, want some bread???? Get it??? (Bread can be another word for money.) He was really puzzled when I handed it to him, but his confusion turned to glee when he saw what I'd done.

How does this help you? Well, you could do the same thing, using a Mickey head-shaped cookie cutter and cut the slices of bread.

See? I said it was crazy! I'll be back if I think of something else.

Inky

Check Michael's or A.C. Moore craft stores if you have them in your area. I remember seeing small Disney cross stitch designs that were easy and wouldn't take long. I think Mickey was one of them.

Hey, you guys are great! I love all the ideas, and I'll take any others!!!!

I saw this one on one of my craft shows the other day.

You purchase a card and those little teeny weeny gift bags (they sell them at at Michael's and Hobby Lobby), paste the bags on the front of the card with the money folded like a very tight fan in each bag. The card can have a Disney theme.

I promised myself to try this this Christmas!

If you want to make your own Mickey head, the proportions are 3" circles for the ears, 5" circles for the head. Of course, if you want to make it smaller or larger, you'd have to multiply or divide accordingly.

How about Mickey's hand around the money?
