Need help! When to see Spectro?

Here is my delima, There will be two nights that we will be able to see spectro. The first night is an EMH night. We currently have an adr for Garden Grill in Epot for 5:30. The second night is a non-emh night. We have an adr for the Coral reef at 5:00. I am worried about the first night being too busy with emh. Anyone been lately and been to a emh? Can we make it from epcot to spectro in time? Please help me decide. We have never seen spectro before and really want to see it! TIA!

I hate to say it, but I would cancel the ADR for the first night and plan on being at MK. That way, if you like Spectro, you can go again later. I'm afraid it would be pushing it to get a good place to watch the parade and enjoy your dining. However, I don't know when Spectro is the evenings that you plan to visit. I have seen Spectro when MK is busy. We claimed our spot about 1 1/2 hours out.
