Ok, I just got back from WDW a few weeks ago where we had a wonderful stay at CBR and I'm thinking about going back December 6-14. If we do this, it will be our Christmas. We will probably get the kids a present or two under the tree, but we really want to go back at Christmas time.

The question is would you stay at a value resort and save about $400 or would you go back to CBR. How are the value resorts. will we be happy there? How are the crowds during this time? Will the resorts be decorated for Christmas? Will we be able to swim?

Ok, I know these are a lot of questions, but I am not sure what should be more important. Just being at Disney and forget the room because I know we will be at the parks, but the parks close early and what will we do at the value resorts; or should I go back to CBR, pay more and just stop worrying? HELP!!!!

The value resorts are just that...value. You get fewer perks, smaller rooms, etc. Only you can decide if value resorts can fit your family. I personally need more space for my family so I would only choose the value resorts for a short weekend or if it was only my DH and me.

December is my favorite time to go with the decorations. The time you are gong is not crowded like summer.

You will be there for value season, so go back to CBR.. Perhaps you will be able to get a really good deal! Maybe it is just me, but I would choose CBR anyday!

Go with CBR! December is a great to be at WDW. The Xmas Decorations make it a whole different experience. Early Dec. is great because it not terribly crowded.

We were there last year from Dec. 1 - 8. It was decorated beautifully. You will love it. Don't miss the Osborne lights.

My parents stayed at a value at that time & we went to "visit" them because I had never been to a value. My husband said he would never stay there. The rooms were very small & the resort was very loud. Kids running everywhere - unsupervised - until very late at night. We were there at about 10 or 11 p.m. My parents said it was loud all night long - doors slamming, kids yelling.

There was a cheerleader & football convention being held there at the time. In fact, we met people from the football convention that switched to our resort because it was so loud they couldn't sleep all night.

I have never stayed there, but that's what happened w/ my parents last year.
