Renting is simple. Go to the point trading board and find someone who has 43 points to trade. You'll probably pay in the neighborhood of $10 per point.
Each rental deal will have its own "fine print", so you'll have to ask for terms up front. Many people get things in writing, which is a wise decision. Be prepared to send some cash up front. As you know, when a ressie is made, the points are committed for that year. Most people will expect some portion of the payment before the ressie is made, and then the rest at some later date.
Once the two reservations are in place--the one that you made and the one on rented points--contact MS to link the two reservations together. That will insure that you have your entire stay in the same physical room rather than leaving the possibility that you may have to relocate.
