I was reading over on the resort board that the lines that are basically non-existent for the park buses is chaotic at this resort. There are no queues, etc.

How in the world does the bus driver even know if there are wheelchairs or scooters to board?

I need any hints that you can share on what to do here, please. Do I need to yell at the bus driver? I would imagine this will be awful if you go at park opening time.

If the driver sees someone waving at him from a wheelchair or scooter, or moving towards the bus, then he knows he needs to go out and assist with boarding.

We stay often at Jambo House. Usually I just go to the front of the curb area toward where the back/boarding area for w/c's is located in each boarding section. When the driver pulls up I make eye contact. A few times either the driver has not noticed me ( I'm hard to miss with my service dog) or has chosen to ignore me and has allowed guests to begin boarding. At that point I roll up to the doorway and ask other guests to let the driver know I am waiting, at which point they stop boarding and I am allowed on. This is a pain as people often are already seated in the area where I need to go...but again it doesn't happen too often. It's happened just as much when the area is crowded as when it's empty- go figure. The only other challenge is when other guests with w/c's or ECV's arrive after me or are there before me. If they are there before me I wait behind them. If they are there after me I can only hope that they will be gracious and courteous and wait their turn.---Kathy
