My ds (7) wants nothing more for his 8th birthday then to go to Manhattan and spend the night. Now here is the tricky part. He wants to eat at a Chinese Restaurant and use chopsticks. A REAL Chinese place not take out. To make this even harder for me, he is VERY VERY PICKY and the only thing chinese he will eat is Chicken with Broccoli. He loves the stuff, but thats it. Thats what he wants.
I looked online and I am overwhelmed by what I am finding. I thought China town would be cool since he is so interested in the chinese culture, but how do I know if these places are too "authentic" for his tastes and my own I might add. I like pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken, but we really dont go much farther then that. PLEASE tell me someone out there has ate Chinese in NYC. Any suggestions?
