Need help planning the week

We booked for the last week of Aug. What do you guys think? Will it still be majorly crowded? Any tips on which days to go to which park? I've heard that Everyone goes to MK on mondays, but I've also heard to go to a park that had an EMH day the night before.

We booked the last week of August too! I asked about the crowds (we were just there 3/22-3/29) and I was told that it is typically not crowded because the schools in the south have started up already.

As for which day/park - yes everyone tends to go to MK on their first day there which is normally Monday and even though I know that - I am arriving on Monday and going to MK!! I can't help but start all my trips there and the crowds have never bothered me.

My only park suggestion would be to try and plan Animal Kingdom on a day that is not too hot. When you go on the Safari ride on the really hot days the animals don't seem to be as visible.

I don't think it will be too bad then. We've found the worst times are around the holidays and when school is out for summer. Most schools should be starting by then.
My only advice is to go first thing in the morning and get as much as you can done. Take advantage of EMH. We leave after lunch and take it easy back at the hotel. It gives us and the kids a break. Then we go back for the evening.
