Need help,, opinions on crowds week before spring break/easter

I'm starting to worry! I have it planned to go second week in May 2017. Now with my new job and my daughters prom for next year I have to change the dates. We've been over Spring break before and I don't ever want to deal woth those crowds again. Next year Easter is on April 16th with spring break the 17th-21st. If we go the week prior how are the crowds? I love May for the weather and crowd levels! I'm also booking with the hopes of getting the spring rates when they come out. The 30% off deluxe resort. Is that still offered if I'm around a school break week?

Any time of the year is a roll of the dice on crowds..

It's too early to say what's going on in april 2017 because disney hasn't posted anything for marathons (and they are hinting already that it's a big anniversary year for rundisney), next years cheer championships and in general, most pre-university families don't know their next year break schedule yet... Also new things are opening or getting close to opening. Pandora *might* open in time for april next year, ak at night.. these are things that are going to bring in much larger crowds and in the case of pandora, it might bring in a whole new guest that doens't identify with disney but loves avatar...

Just be prepared for amazing weather, even better than may and you might see a crowd.

Week prior may be rough. While your spring break is the 17-21 it is quite possible that a lot of schools will have off the prior week because of Passover which is the 10-28th next year. You should probably expect the Star Wars Half Marathon weekend sometimes around then as well. The 2017 date isn't up just yet but it was the the 14-17th this year. I would expect similar to spring break crowds since it will probably be part of the countries spring break.
