I am coming down in October (during the food/wine fest) and wondered what would be the best restaurants to pick for 6 dinners... (family of 4. 2 adaults, 1 16 yr old and 8 yr old).. they love bbq, steaks, seafood and buffets (dont ask me why.. I dont get that one)...

I was thinking the following:

Ohana
Le Cellier (did I spell that right)
Rose and Crown
Chef Mickey (just for the 8 yr old)
Prime Time Dinning (same as above)
Boma

I would love suggestions because we have rarely eaten within the disney compound.. so I am not familiar with any of these places..

Also since we are coming during the food/wine festival.. should I buy the dinner package??? :p

Thanks...

Boma-is great! Our favorite!
Chef Mickey- is okay, but fun!
Rose & Crown-okay.
Le Cellier-haven't tried, but we will in two weeks!
Ohana-also haven't tried, but will in two weeks!
Prime Time is also great and a lot of fun!

We will be also trying this year, Liberty Tree Tavern and our other dinner will be at Concourse Steakhouse, which will be a first for us also. We also have ressies at Cape May Cafe, which we have not eaten in either! I would call and make ressies if it is during the free dining plan time-they have become very hard to get! Hope you enjoy them! I would definitely do the dining plan!

One suggestion which will cover everything at once is the Cape May at the Beach Club which covers all of your needs at once.

we really enjoy le cellier. be sure to order the chocolate mousse for dessert. it is on the children's menu, but adults can order it. enjoy!! :earboy2:

I'd switch out Prime Time at MGM for Sci Fi. That is a real experience. :cool1: Our DD and DS have loved it since they were 8--now they're 18 and 16. A big vote for Biergarten in EPCOT if you could; but don't deal away Le Celllier. :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I also loved Alfredo's (in Italy @ WS) in 2003. It was a little tightly packed, but the food was excellent and our waiter was superb - not the mention the AMAZING cannolli at the end of my meal :cloud9:

Ohana is very very good! I am going to try Cali Grill for our trip in Sept, I have heard great things about it. Sci - Fi was a fun experience, but the food was so so. Crystal Palace is the best for breakfast! My family really likes the rain forest in the animal kingdom. You do not hear to much about it, but we love it!
