Need Help in Chosing Resort

Going to Disney in January 2006. Will be taking a 15 and 13 year old. We have narrowed it down to AKL and CR. Please give your opinions on which resort you like better. Also, when is the marathon held in January.

Marathon weekend in 2006 is January 6-7-8.
