Need help from Atlanta area Dissers

My dad, DS and nephew will be going to the Peach Bowl to see University of Maryland play on New Years Eve. I need to make a reservation for a motel not far from the area but not expensive either. Any decent places with an indoor pool, like Holiday Inn, Comfort Inn, etc. Also, in a nice area. They are driving down so they'd like something no more than 15-25 minutes from the stadium. I have the motel 800 numbers but I know nothing about Atlanta and I don't know what areas are nice or not so nice. Any help would be appreciated. GO TERPS.

Ray Sharpton is from Atlanta but I know he is at WDW right now and will be here several more days at least.

I'm not sure what to suggest. I wouldn't stay anywhere near the stadium. If you do, be prepared to pay for it. I've stayed at Embassy Suites and it wasn't bad at all. If you're looking for a Comfort Inn type place, I don't have much advice, except to not stay in the city. The area just beyond the Dome, Phillips Arena, CNN center is not a place I'd like to be. So if you pick a place near those venues, make sure it's close. Otherwise, hit the suburbs. If you have specific questions, PM me. If I don't have the answer, I know people who will.

I would recommend the Embassy Suites also. I am about 3-4 hours away from Atlanta but we used to stay at one when we used to go to alot of Braves and Falcons games. The Peachtree Plaza (if it is still called that) was also nice but I went with a school group so I could not tell you anything about price and that it was a LONG time ago. This hotel is the real tall round one. I know it is located in a great spot.
