Ok guys! Because the Dis knows all I am coming to you to help me find the matching window treatments for my bedroom. I found the prettiest comforter at Target.
http://www.target.com/Waverly-Home-Lexington-Bedding-Collection/dp/B001J0C3P0

Because it is a Waverly I would think there is at least a matching valance somewhere. I think the pattern is Lexington but I am not getting anything to come up when I search on that name. I think the color is spring green. At least that is the sheet color. I have been looking online for a couple hours now and had no luck. I am hopeful someone out there will have an idea where to find either the valance or even matching fabric.

Thanks for the help!:goodvibes

you could go to target or someplace else with the comforter and buy either green or white side panels. A sheer might look good with that set since it so light and pretty

The pattern is most likely propitiatory to Target, meaning no one else carries it. Are you looking for full panel curtains or do you want a valance? You can use the matching sheets or pillow cases to make both. Otherwise, get some fabric that complements the set and have some made.

Making a valance and even a panel is easy.
Just use sheers for the "curtains" and then a sheet panel on either side that you put a hem in the top to form a sleeve to run over the curtain rod.

Same thing for the valance. Cut a sheet to the lrngth you want. Add a hem and a sleeve for the curtain rod, and you're done!

You can go into a JoAnns and they have a wide selection of trims if you want to add that to the finished curtains.

in the one review available for the set the reviewer said that the "Target faux silk curtains in "moonglow", work well with the set.

Thanks for the ideas! I do know someone who could make the valance out of a sheet. I doubt I could make it though as I don't even own a sewing machine. But the sheets might work.

I was afraid it might just be at Target. I also looked at the review but didn't really care for the ones she suggested. They seemed to cream to me.

What do you think of white Priscilla's? Penny's has some that look nice on line and they have that lighter feel to them. At least now I can move on from finding the matching one to choosing something else!

Thanks again!

I ordered white Pricilla's from jcpenny. I think they will look just right. Kind of old fashioned - but I don't care. The last ones I had were very modern what do they say, clean lines. Might be a good change to have some ruffles! Thanks for the ideas everyone.

Try countrycurtains.com.They have some beautiful curtains...they may not have th eexact pattern, but they have things that would go with that set...white with the green trim, Priscillas...take a look.

Their curtains are a bit more expensive, but they are good quality. I have curtains from them hanging in my livingroom that have been there for 15 years. They are nice, lined, still in style. I dry clean them occasionall and they are beautiful!
