We are heading to Disneyland in 2 weeks and the food budget isn't quite as large as I would like it to be for a family of 7. We have 2 adults, 2 teens and a 7yr old and 3&2 yr old. We're doing a birthday dinner at Rainforest one night but need suggestions/tips for in the parks. Is there many places with a great selection to please everyone?:confused3
Thanks!

At DL I would recommend Tommorowland Terrace since the restaurant has two different sides offering double the offerings of any other restaurant.

Tomorrowland Terrace - This restaurant has two sides, with different adult and
child menus on each side. The beverage and dessert menus are the same
on both sides.

Where are you staying? MiMi's Cafe on Harbor & Manchester is right next to the HoJo and is a great, affordable family style restaurant. Portions are huge and you can easily split meals.

Whitewater Snacks in the GCH is also a great option for affordable dining.

Mimi's is excellent, I highly recommend that place and their Pasta Jumbalaya. Also Millie's is an excellent option as well located on Harbor next to the Camelot Inn. They have a wide selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers, and dinner type selections. Plus they have the famous Monte Cristo at a fraction of the cost of what you would pay inside of DL.

I think the ihop has some kids eat free specials after a certain time. some food places have VERY large portions. my wife and i always split the beef stew bread bowl and a salad at the french market.

You could also have food delivered to your hotel from the local Vons grocery store.

You can bring snacks into the park, you could always bring pb&j sandwiches, etc into the park to help on costs there, or go back to your hotel for lunch and/or dinner.

DTD Jazz Kitchen express window - popcorn chicken and smiley face french fries - all the kids in our family die over them. A couple good choices for the adults too. Also DTD Napolini Express outside is good too for just a few slices of pizza. INSIDE - we like Riverbelle Terrace for quick and least expensive. Avoid Village Haus, please, or you're going to have some very hungry kids AFTER you've "eaten".

Hi,
One way we save money is we get a hotel room with a fridge and then order grocery delivery from vons dot com or albertsons dot com. You can find a coupon for free delivery via Google. And then we pack sandwiches into a small insulated cooler/bag to take into the park.

Also we pack one suitcase full of non-perishable items. My DH has allergies so we also do this to mitigate those.
