OK, my sister is leaving for WDW in the morning and just called to ask me where she could send an e-mail from in any of the parks, Downtown Disney or All Stars Resorts. Can anyone help me on such short notice? I haven't been to WDW for a couple of years, so I couldn't help her! TIA!! :D

In Epcot, in the Imagination Pavillion there is an area after Journey into you Imagination and there is an area there to send email. Also, I believe there is a place in Innoventions.

Thanks for your quick reply! I knew someone could help me out!

The email you can send at EPCOT is one-way only. You can send a picture of yourself with a "unique" background and a message. But y ou can't receive email or check your email account (like Hotmail).

If you ever go to DisneyQuest, they used to have Internet devices on the fourth or fifth floor that you could read and send email.

There are now pay per use internet terminals in all the resorts and theme parks. All she has to do is locate one of these, and either put in some money (they have dollar slots) or swipe a credit card (much easier), and then she can go anywhere she wants on the internet and check email, surf, etc. They look like a pay phone, but have a computer screen and full keyboard. I believe it was like $1 or $1.50 minimum for the first several minutes, and then after that it's like .25 a minute, but for just checking email and writing a couple quick emails, it's handy and not too expensive. I've used the one at All-Star Sports, so I know even the All-Stars have them- they're in the lobby of the resorts in the usual pay phone bank. Hope this gets to you in time. Also if you have a pass that gets you into DisneyQuest, you can use the computers there for the same thing for free, although you would have to travel to DisneyQuest to do it, so not quite as convenient unless you're already there.

I was reading on another thread that there is a business center (I think that's the name) at the Yacht Club. It costs something like $10 an hour to use a computer, and it sounded like it was online. Yacht Club is right next to the International Gateway exit of Epcot. I would call the Yacht Club to get more info. I read about it on a thread today about computer connections in the rooms of the Swan if you want to look for it.

Thanks everyone for the info! I was able to get everyone's responses and call her on her cell on the way to the airport this a.m. She was thrilled to hear that I got such quick responses! (She's on her way to WDW for her honeymoon, and wanted to keep in touch through e-mail so she didn't actually have to "talk" to everyone while she was gone! ;)

Thanks again! You DIS'ers are GREAT!
