Hello, I have currently booked CP for an 11:45 lunch and on the same day a dinner at 5:30 at LTT. We are going to cancel one and just do one sit down that day and I can't decide which one!

My daughter is 3. We did CP on our last trip for breakfast and really liked it. She is starting to lose interest with Winnie the Pooh now, she is more into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einstein's. (We do have Hollywood and Vine booked another day).
My concern with LTT is that she isn't really that familiar with Chip and Dale. She does know both Minnie and Goofy. Should I stick with what I know she liked last time around or go with something new?:confused3

I think she'll love LTT, all the characters were great there and the food was good, too! Our dd hadn't really seen Chip and Dale cartoons either, and she really enjoyed them.

Go with LTT; the character meal will be gone 1/09. The food was good and character interaction was great--they were at the table at least 2 times each. It was also family style so you don't have all the hustle and bustle of everyone racing around for a buffett. My kids loved it.:woohoo:

I am not sure when you are going but, please note info posted on Allear.

Liberty Tree Tavern - Beginning January 5, 2009, the Magic Kingdom's Liberty Tree Tavern will no longer offer character dining. The last character dinner at the Tavern will be on January 4, 2009. (Posted July 1, 2008)

Just want to make sure you were not counting on characters after 1/5/09. My DD is 13 and DS 10 and CP is still one of their favorite places.

If you're going prior to January 5, 2009, I'd definitely vote for LTT. :)

If you are planning to go before they end the character meal at LTT, then I would choose that one!!! It has always been our favorite.

I've also heard that Chip 'n Dale have been "replaced" with Donald and Daisy.

Thanks everyone for your input. I think I am leaning to LTT. I had forgotten they were ending the character dining there in January so I guess it is a good idea to do it while we have the chance!

I've never been to LTT, but we didn't like Crystal Palace. The characters were great, but we did not like the food. The selection was very small considering the price, and most of the food wasn't good. Hope that helps you a little! :)

Hi, sorry, don't mean to hijack, but I need to know if Chip 'n Dale are still at LTT. They are DGS' favorite characters and I don't want to plan his birthday lunch/dinner there, if Chip 'n Dale won't be there. HELP! Thanks a bunch!

We were there 11/07 and Chip and Dale were there then. They were also at GG in Epcot.

when i was there last time they had Chip and Dale, Mickey and Minnie and Goofy and i think Pluto too..(forget if pluto was there or not) ..all dressed patriotic!!

I would pick LTT over CP!

We were there Christmas 2007 and Minnie, Pluto and Chip and Dale were there.

I really enjoy Chip and Dale and to the OP if your daughter doesn't know them now, I bet she'll love meeting them.

Have a great trip!
