I need some idea for a Work Christmas gift exchange.
The limit is $10

I have no idea what to get . Its an office of 10 women. All have good taste. Gift will be numbered and what ever number you pick you get.

so what are some nice $10 gift that would be loved or enjoyed by all. Thanks inadvance

Hi
I am just going to share mine as I needed to make 14 of them and to be fair I had alot of left over canning jars that I didn't need to buy this year.
I made each person a jar of orange creamsicle sugar scrub.

I topped each jar with the recipe and a scrubbing puff.
I tied a small spoon to the top side of the jar.

Flavored olive oil with a small dish for dipping.
Starbucks gift card.
Holiday dishtowels.

I'll second the starbucks gift card
I did something like this for a grade 8 graduating class last year and they loved them.

It's kind of random but for our secret santa, we picked names at work, I got her a wet brush and some fun ponytail holders. She has long hair and the wet brush is amazing and I think every woman that brushes their wet hair, even once a week, should have one of these brushes. It takes the knots out and doesn't add more like other brushes.

A purse sized umbrella. I like the idea of flavored oils. I'd step into a gift shop boutique store and look around for other ideas.

I'll have to double check if gift cards are allowed . Did you have to pay for the cup with dome or will they give one for free?

Yankee candle has 3 small candles for $10. You could get one Christmassy scent and 2 to enjoy after the holidays.

I once received a popcorn bucket with some candy/microwave popcorn in it and a redbox code for a movie. They made the redbox code look like a gift certificate. I thought that was a cute idea!

Yankee candle
BBW hand soaps
any gift card is good (Starbucks, Dunkin, lunch place near your work)
bottle of wine

I love the Yankee Candle or BBW hand soaps ideas. Those are gifts I'd love to get. :)
And while I use Starbucks a lot, I've stopped giving them as gifts. Might just be me/my family but it seems like everyone has them and everyone gives them.

Our limit is $20, and we have a mixed male/female audience. So I got this blender: http://www.target.com/p/hamilton-beach-single-serve-blender/-/A-14840272. In black, with the 10% code HOLIDAY and my 5% Redcard discount, it came to $12.73 + tax, plus I used my discounted gift cards from the Target 10% off gift card sale a week or so ago, that I rolled from the Target gift cards I bought using the AmEx $20 off $100 deal at Staples. (No one needs to know I worked a deal :cool2:) I was able to order it for store pickup so I'll be ready to go for our party next week.

I think any sort of gadget that you sort of look at and go "hmmm...I wouldn't buy that for myself but I wouldn't be upset at being GIVEN that!" is a good choice. You know - the sort of thing you look at and tell yourself you really don't have a need for it, but only after you really search you mind to see if you have a need because it just seems nifty...

I also considered a label maker LOL

Mu husband did a bag of gourmet coffee for his job, and in the past he's received (or given) gift packs from Target. Back in their holiday section they have a lot of packs of things like hot chocolate (different flavors) and tea for around $10. I always like getting the little treats that I wouldn't ever buy for myself!

A few years ago I did one of those sandwich panini makers. Got it for $15.00 and great for a guy or girl.

I bought page a day calendars for my husband and a friend. One is getting Life Hacks, the other movie quotes. My sister has a $25 limit on her work exchange so when she was visiting me, she got 2 small gift sets from Cracker Barrel - I know there was pancake mix & syrup & cinnamon apples for sure. The closest Cracker Barrel to where she lives is over an hour away. Scratch off lottery tickets were a big hit at a friends gift exchange.

I see a lot of suggestions for "smelly" items - lotions, candles, soaps, etc. One thing to consider is that some people are sensitive to scents - I know my asthma is kicked off by many. I also have allergies to some lotions (anything with lanolin - that's actually a common issue in people with other animal allergies).

Not that you have to avoid giving these gifts - no gift you select would be perfect for everyone - but it's just something to think about, esp. in terms of your specific group - if you know one of the possible recipients has any sorts of issues, it might be better to go with something else.
