Need help/advice La Nouba

Hoping someone can give me some advice. We are going to Disney May 10-17th. During this week La Nouba only shows on Sat.10th for some reason. I wanted to get a discount on the tickets and saw that if you join the cirque de soul site you could get some good discounts. I don't see any promotions/discounts for La Nouba on any month. I have seen on here where people have indicated that they had them before. Does anyone know if they still offer promotions and is it often? Also if they do, how far in advance is it normally offered? Didn't want to lose out on the tickets since its only showing the one night we are they and figured due to that it might be booking fast. But also didn't want to spend a lot more money if I can help it. Appreciate any advice.

Thanks but I don't have a Disney visa and my hubby probably wouldn't be fond of me opening one just for that. Even though I may be tempted if it says me a good amount lol I have yet to seen any specials for the Orlando city under the club membership for any time period. I wonder if they are still offering discounts for them or is it very rare?

We saw the show the 1st week of June last year. When we booked, there was a Cirque club discount, a Disney visa discount, an Annual passholder discount, a DVC discount and a TIW discount. I think you are looking for a discount too early. Try back in March for a May showing.

Ok thanks that gives me some hope. How much discount were you able to get and do you know if they usually sell out fast?

We got ours on our last trip through Cirque's website directly and got an awesome deal. We regularly get emails about offers. If I remember correctly the email offer came out about one to two months max before our trip. The tickets for the La Nouba show were the cheapest Cirque tickets we have bought so far. Excellent show too.

When you do order your tickets, make sure to get seats in the upper tier. Lower tier, closer seating, is not good for Cirque shows.

Really? In La Nouba we had ground seats and felt like we were right in the thick of the action.

Would someone mind posting exactly how good of a deal they got? We are considering La Nouba for our next trip but tix are so pricey. We chose Blue Man Group for our last trip because the tix were a fraction of the cost.

Thanks, Dan. I'm a Cirque Club member. Hopefully they will offer a similar discount during our trip. $69 is a lot better than $100+.

The green in 202 or 206 would be preferred over the green on 201 or 207. The blue, upper tier 203-205, is great.

I am hoping to do the blue with the discounts. That's what I really want. But with Disney costing so much, I cant spend the extra without the promo so will have to do the green or yellow (if green is sold out). Just making sure I wasn't wasting my money if that is what I have to do.

December 2012 we got Cat 2 seats for around $55 each.

I agree about the upper level seats being better. I have arthritis in my neck and I never could have tolerated looking so far up at the action all night.

We have seen La Nouba twice. The first time we were in section 2 3 rows from the stage on the right hand side. That is way too close to the stage. We spent the whole night LOOKING UP above our heads and it was uncomfortable. We got the Club Cirque discount on those I think they were $60.

The second time we went we got section 3 upper tier. MUCH MUCH MUCH better seats. The pre-show show is along the walkway between the lower and upper sections and part of the show is actually done on the walkway between the sections. If you are in the lower part of the theater you have to completely turn around in your seat to see all that. I would recommend the higher sections for sure. Those seats we got for around $53 each for section 3.

We have seen Blue Man Group also and got discounted tickets for that through Travel Zoo. Loved that show.

We joined the friends of La Nouba and got about 20% off. We had mid range price seats and we had a great view.
