Need help adding days and passes to an existing reservation

We are currently booked on a land/sea cruise for Feb 10-17 2005
The land portion is 3 days/ 4night s at the Poly which we have UPH for.. We want to add some days to the land potion and arrive on the 8th and stay for two extra nights/days, we also want to be able to go to the parks during this added time. Asked TA if we could extend UPH for extra two days and TA said only if we add the two nights at Poly which is more then what we want to spend. Any suggestions. I will be posting this over at the resort boards as well thanks for any help

What you can do is to ask if you can take the UMPs off of your package and just buy the appropriate hopper passes.

They may not allow you to do this as your package stands now. So you MAY have to rebook your vacation with a ROOM ONLY reservation. Then you can purchase the passes that you would like.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with the intricacies of the Land/Sea Packages, so what I am telling you may be entirely incorrect. Hopefully someone else who knows more than me can help you out...

Since you won't be staying at the same hotel, couldn't you just make a seperate reservation for those 2 days? May not be idea, but it would accomplish what you want.

With the land/sea package, your resort and UPHs are included in the package. Disney does do add-ons, but like the OP said, it can cost you.

The way I see it, you need 2 more nights at a resort but don't want the expense of staying at the Poly, am I correct?

If I am, then you may want to try this:
Have your TA book a room-only ressie at the resort of your choice. Tell her to link the ressie with your land/sea package so that Disney will know that you're changing resorts.

You will need park passes for 2/8 and 2/9 (but not 2/10, because you'll be checking into the Poly that morning and getting your UPHs then).

You have a choice here of getting the UPHs for 2/8 and 2/9 when you check in at your first resort or you can get 2-day 1park/day passes at the gate to whichever park you visit first. The UPHs will cost more but give you more flexibility. The 2-day passes will run about $105 per adult while the UPHs for 1 night/2 days runs about $132 when purchased at check-in.
