done yankee candles... I believe it is like 30-40% profits. We did this with cub scouts and made alot of money. It is very easy, and they do all the shipping etc so you get boxes with stuff already organized. FWIW.

We rented a senior (not citizen) last year for an ungodly amt. of money to finish our fall yard cleanup. It was a nice auction, with donated/potluck food, which cost $10 for the tickets, too. It was fun and for a good cause. They also auctioned off desserts.
