Someone said they're not better than a normal dish towel. Hah! Not true at all. The frogg togg was a life saver for me last September. It will hold water for hours in extreme heat and will stay cool. I usually had it hanging on my head or around my neck and down my shirt. You can hardly tell it is holding water (because it doesn't drip like a normal wet towel would) unless you wring it out, in which case a ton of water will magically come out.
As far as storage, I rinse it out when I get back to the hotel, wet it, put it in a ziploc bag and store it in the refrigerator. It's ice cold and ready to go in the morning. I would end up taking it out of my bag about 1 or 2 hours after we get to the park.
Storing at home for a long period... First I wash it just like clothes and dry it in the dryer. Then, I take it out, wet it just enough so that it's not "hard" and fold it up into a square about 6x6 inches and leave it sitting out about a week until it dries, usually flipping it once a day. Once it's dry, you can store it all year without the fear of it mildewing.
