I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old and I need some new ideas for food and snacks for the parks and hotel. I bring the typical things such as crackers and pretzels and cereal bars, but alot of times they get hungry and want something else, and there is no vendor readily available, or we are on the plane or in the hotel room. Also, I just don't want them eating junk the whole week. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sixteen more days!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I have a 1 yr and a 4 yr old DD, so far this is what I have

Fruit Gushers
Gold Fish Crackers
Mini Choco Chip Cookies (mostly for me) LOL
Pop Tarts
Kool-Aid Jammers
Fruit & Grain Bars

I am forgetting something else and I am too lazy to go to the Disney box to see what it is...LOL

I plan to go to Sam's and get a few more "Healthy" items!!

My kids love the cheese and breadsticks. They come in individual packages and are easy to eat, I buy them at Sams Club they come in a box of 30 I think. Not the best nutritional value but better than candy. We also bring raisins, granola bars, fruit snacks and juice boxes.

We are going next week! :cheer2: :cheer2:

I have a 4 and almost 2 yr old (and my 30yr old husband! :earboy2: ) I packed probably too many snacks but these are some that I found-

small cereal to go packs( little cups of cereal)
walmart brand crystal light mix for water bottles
tuna and chicken salad kits (no refrig required, comes with crackers and mayo)
kids chex mix
fruit cups with pop tops
fruit by the foot and fruit snacks
ritz bits

Our hotel has continental breakfast so I will probably try to grab some fruit and other non perishable things in the morning.

We always make a stop in the produce dept. during the grocery stop on the way to WDW or before we leave home and grab SunMaid pouches of dried fruit (apricots, tropical trio is good and dried apples are pretty good too) and fruit leathers for the kiddos. We also visit the bulk bins for trailmix and/or nuts and package it all up in ziploc bags. :goodvibes

I kept several of the individual fruit cups and applesauce in the bag that I took to the park.It was great for snacking or rounding out a meal that they shared. Also GoGurt(tubes of yogurt) if you have a refrigerator in your room.I like to freeze these and throw them in the bag or cooler on the stroller.
