If we're at AK at opening, what's the fastest way to get to EE for a fastpass? I'm not certain where the walkway is - is it quicker to go thru Dinoland or thru ASIA?

Great question. I would like to know the answer as well.

I read that whilst it is actually shorter through Dinoland, it takes just as long as the other way, so it doesn't really matter! :confused3 But, whichever way you go....it is worth it!!!!! :teeth:

I don't think it matters, either, but I would go to the tree, head right toward Dino land, and head left after the bridge. There might be less people traffic.

We did this last Tuesday at 8 am opening. There are guides that "walk" the crowds through Asia to the enterence. The enterence is on the Asia side, not the Dinoland side. I think it is quicker to walk the route through Asia than try to run through Dinoland and actually have to pass EE to get to the que. We walked right on to the next loading train and then got a fast pass. We rode this twice as well as Kali River and Primeevil Whirl and Triceratop SPin all within 40 minutes.

I would vote for going through Dinoland as well. From what I have heard, the two paths are close to the same distance.

I agree...we tried both ways and found the route through Asia to be much less crowded.

The day we're going to be there - the park opens at 9:00am... We have ADR at Donald's Breakfastosaurus at 8:00am. So hopefully when the rest of the AK crowd gets in at 9:00 we'll be able to beat them because we'll be closer?

Has anyone tried this?

here is a hint. do single rinder...there was a 45 minute wait yesterday and i was about to wait in line when i saw the single rider line. I went to the CM and got a fast past and literally walked onto the ride... I was finished with the ride before hubby got through the line for a ice cream....

I wish more attractions would incorporate this feature into their queue. A lot of the time I have to ride single rider anyway because my daughters are too little to go on the "big thrill" rides... so this would work out perfect for me.

We used to do that all the time but now that our kids are big enough to go on the rides they don't want to go alone, so we wait in line!

We're doing the same thing! Donald's Breakfastosaurus at 8 am then hopefully onto EE a few times!

I would like to know if anyone else has done this, and how it works in regards to getting to EE before the 9 am people? Since we will already be in the park, will we be allowed to go get FP a few minutes before 9 am?

We're doing Donald's Breakfast @ 8:30 am - I think we'll try to arrive a little early and see if we can get seated early so we can get out between 9:00 and 9:15 am. I hope we won't be sorry to ride EE on a full stomach. I was curious to see where the crowd from the rope drop will be coming from.

I have to agree here. We were there last Tuesday at opening and my cousin ran to EE grabbed 8 Fastpasses, went to the Safari and we ran back to EE, able to ride twice with fast pass, then jumped back in to "single rider line", only move even further up with the "front of the ride line" (there was three of us and two sat together in the very front, one sat right behind in the first cart)! Woo hoo - we rode EE 3 times in a row - it was great! I also wish that the single rider line was incorporated on more rides - I rode by myself on a couple of rides and had a great time!

The Unofficial Guide specifically says that the quickest path is from Discovery Island through Asia. I have not been, but we are planning to do that next Monday!! I used their advice on many things before and they always seem to be right so I would go with that. =) :thumbsup2
