Hi everyone!

When I was at SSR a couple of months ago, met some folks on the bus that said they had to transfer because they were staying at the treehouses. I didn't realize that.

Could you explain bus transportation for the treehouses to me?

Thanks!

A shuttle bus runs between the two Treehouse stops as well as those at The Grandstand and The Springs. If staying at the Treehouses, you board the shuttle at one of the THV stops and get off at either The Grandstand or The Springs. Then you wait for the standard SSR bus to the theme parks or water parks.

When we stayed at the treehouses a couple years ago, the shuttle buses were very efficient. It ran every 20 minutes or so and waits were short. But it does add the layer of waiting for another bus. I'd say on average it adds about 10-15 minutes travel time to every trip compared to staying at SSR proper.

Some Treehouse Villas are very close to the walking path to The Grandstand area. Walking there to catch a bus is pretty low hassle if you happen to be in that area.

IMO, having a car and driving to the parks works best.

It goes to SSR and DTD. If I remember correctly the PI dock.

Yup. The boats stop at the main SSR dock both coming and going so the route is:

PI
SSR
THV
SSR
PI

The added wait time for transportation is so worth it. Those treehouses are amazing! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much :thumbsup2

I really want to stay in one, I'll have to do a search, SSR isn't our home resort. Wondering how successful I'll be at 7 mos.
