How do these look my experienced friends for TS on DDP for our December trip ? All likely for dinner or lunch. The cast is DH, DMe(forever 28), DD10, DD6 and my parents. TIA.

We have never done 1900 Park Faire, Teppan Edo or Boma (trying Boma for dinner and breakfast this year). We love Crystal Palace--but we've only done breakfast--and absolutely love it. We always enjoyed Coral Reef, but we haven't been there in probably ten years. We love Mama Melrose--we have done it three years with great service and good food; on the other hand, Hollywood & Vine is one of two Disney restaurants we will not go back to. But you should try what you want.

I have done all those except Boma mainly b/c I'm not sure we would enjoy the food there. Other than that all the other places are fantastic except Hollywood. We went there last year (totally skipped it this year) b/c the food there was terrible and the service was even worse. I would definately change that one and you should have a fantastic trip!!!!

Oh my! Your girls are exactly the age of my girls! The only places we have tried on your list are Crystal Palace (lunch), Coral Reef and Kona. We loved all three of these! We are adding Teppan Edo to our list for our November trip, so you will have to let me know how it is.

mommyaof2, I think you are going first so you'll have to let me know about Teppan Edo. I am excited to try Boma this time too. My to be 10 year old is excited that she will be able to order the wave from Coral Reef. She doesn't care about the meals, just the desserts, like her mom. I spoke to someone yesterday leaving tomorrow for 10 days on the dining plan and I asked her where her reservations were. She said "Oh, we're not making those, I haven't even looked at any of the paperwork and we don't want to have to plan." Yikes.

You'll get some nay sayers for H&V Fantasmic dinner. We enjoyed our meal there. Had wonderful service (Brenda) and found good choices on the buffet. You had a horrible experience at MM, so keep this one. You'll find something to eat and you already know the value of the Fantasmic seating.

We had an excellent lunch at Coral Reef and loved dinner at Boma. I'm looking forward to lunch at Crysta Palace at the end of August.

I think we are going to keep H&V. My mother is very laid back, and pretty much refuses to go back to Mama Melroses. She is my mom and I've got to keep her happy especially since she rarely voices a strong opinion

Sorry, I didn't realize that I was going first! I will let you know. I am excited about trying Teppan Edo. My 10 year old is excited about getting to order adult meals. She is getting to that age where she thinks she is too old for the kid menus.

If you haven't tried Boma, hold that thought until you do. It is pretty unique. If you find you're not a fan of that one either then you are spot on not a fan of Disney Buffets.
