Hey Dis Fam,

I have not been to the parks since pre LL and I was hoping you guys could help me out here: I'll be in Epcot on 10/20 from open until 3ish by myself beofre meeting some family over at MNSSHP. I don;t have nay solid plans but would like to get on Guardians and Remmy if I can, willing to pay too but I don't know where to start... Any advise on what if anything I should buy? Tips?

thanks in advance.

You should try for a VQ for GOTG and then pay for an ILL for GOTG - if you like rides - this one is awesome. If you do this right at 7 A.M. you have a good chance of getting early times . Remy is part of Genie+, or stand by line. We were there mid-June , thank God Remy wasn’t an ILL, we probably would have paid since it was new to us. DGS8 liked Remy, DGS12, 2 adults & 2 seniors were not impressed.

When you say "open", are you taking early entry rope drop? Front entrance or IG?

Assuming the VQ is still there, you pull that for Guardians and do Remy a your first ride. There are tons of videos out there about how to successfully pull a VQ (use time.gov to refresh at 6:59:59; use data NOT Disney wifi) and if you don't pull it, then you buy the LL.

If these are your only two priorities, you don't *need* G+. Then again, if it's just you, maybe the $16 isn't a huge chunk of change to have nice short lines all day and then a couple of short MK lines before the party officially starts.

Not sure what time you'll arrive and if you're staying on property but if you can I'd try to rope drop Remy and get in the virtual queue for GOG. You can't buy an iLL$ for Remy anymore, only GOG. If you do purchase G+, you can then book a LL for Remy but I'm not a fan of buying G+ for epcot since I just don't feel like there's any real bang for your buck. But if you're solo, than it's probably not a big deal for purchase for one person so could be of benefit given the short window of time.

If you're staying at disney hotel, you can get in a little early and head to Remy to make that work. If you're not staying on site, you can still RD but you'll be a little behind the crowd. If you can't get the VQ for GOG, you can also buy iLL$ or you can do both if you want. We've done that with a few rides before since it's a chance to ride twice. Right now, there are to VQ times for Guardians, 7a and 1p. You have to be super duper fast, try to not use disney wifi and plan to test your service where you'll be at 7a and 1p to make sure you have good connectivity.
