We are 5 months pregnant and just found out yesterday that we are having a baby girl. I would love to name my child after a Disney character. (my family thinks I am crazy but I know you guys understand) Help me pick a girls name from anything Disney related. (movies, books, etc.) Any help is appreciated. THANKS!!

My personal favorite is Wendy from Peter Pan (its my mom's name!)

Another vote for Wendy. The name didn't exist before Peter Pan was written... and, it's my name. And... chances are, there won't be any other Wendy's in her class.

Ive always loved the name Ariel.

And then there's always Lillian (lilly) after Walts wife.

But yeah, i love the name ariel...just my two cents.

CONGRATULATIONS and best wishes!!! princess:

I was thinking Jasime or Wendy.

I like the names suggested so far---like Belle, Ariel, Aurora, and Wendy. Mary is an old-fashioned name and its pairs well with middle names. Congrats on your Princess.

Wendy is pretty. How about from the movies that weren't animated? Any of those that you might like?

How about Melody (Ariel's daughter) or Alice, Daisy (love this one.. it was my Great Grandmother's name!), or Rose... didn't they call Princess Aurora Rose?

how about Marie as a first or middle name from Aristacats. She is the little white kittnen.
I also like Jasmine. Jassy could be a nickname
Jasmine Marie would be nice

I like Ariel or Meg (Megara).

Congratulations!!!!! <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_2_129.gif' border=0></a>

What about Elizabeth, wasn't that the lady's name in 101 Dalmations? Also it was used in Pirates of the Caribbean.

Or maybe Marie, the name of the kitten in Artistocats?

Some of the other Disney names are too cutesy and fanciful for me. I can't imagine someone's grandmother being called by those names 80 years from now!!!
